An Introduction to "Get Paid to Surf"

What's this?? I can get PAID just for surfing?
Glad you asked, this was exactly what we were wondering when we
first came here. Whether you have been online for years or are just
starting out, you are probably used to PAYING an Internet Service
Provider to be online. Now, hearing that YOU CAN GET PAID to be
online just doesn't make sense at all, does it?
Well the reason is, in a nutshell - ADVERTISING DOLLARS.
What many companies have come to realize is that people are spending
more time online, and less time watching television. Ask yourself:
how many hours a month do I surf the Internet, and how many hours
of TV since I started to surf ?
Well, if you are typical, the TV advertisers are not very happy
about your answers since fewer people are watching their ads.
Then one day, some bright advertising person (let's call him Kim)
said 'Hey, let's stream advertising on the computer instead of TV'.
After receiving a healthy raise, and a pat on the back, his bosses
thought to ask, 'Well now Kim, how exactly can we get people to
look at ads on their computer?'
To which Kim replied 'umm....PAY them?'
DING DING DING DING DING DING DING......
And that's how it all started, end of story. Well, maybe not EXACTLY
that way, but the basic idea is that it is actually more cost effective
for the advertisers to just PAY YOU to watch their
ads on the computer than to keep putting out more TV ads hoping
you might come back.
But then Kim's bosses thought 'But now, we will have to advertise
about ourselves to let people know about our brand new concept'.
This is where Kim truly earned his raise, he thought for a while
then said 'Why don't we just pay the people already getting paid
by us EVEN MORE MONEY to advertise for us by word
of mouth?' You can almost see the smiles on the Advertisers faces...millions
of people spreading the word...
So now, these companies will pay YOU a percentage
of what any person you refer to them does, and also of any that
they refer (and so on and so on....). Depending on the company,
you can get paid through as much as 6 or 7 levels of referrals.
Because of this, you can get paid for people you never even knew
(like your brother's friend's uncle's co-worker's gardener). If
you tell enough people, or you have a few people who tell lots of
others or....well you get the idea, the sum of the percentages can
add up to many times what you would get paid by the company for
surfing yourself.
The only catch we can see in all of this, is that you DO have to
watch some of their ads. But remember, this is what they are paying
you for in the first place. Just be careful, these ads are normally
so good that you may end up wanting to buy more and more things
online. (you have been warned!)
